CiaoItaly opened in Turin in 2008 as a language school specialising in teaching the Italian language and culture to foreigners
It is a member of the following sector associations: ASILS, AIL, Eduitalia, moreover is accredited by CSN Lund-Sweden and Bildungsurlaub for the delivery of their courses. The school is also an authorised assessment centre for the «Firenze» examinations, run by Accademia Italiana di Lingua (AIL) and for the CILS examinations, run by Siena University for Foreigners. Moreover the school is one of the centres authorised by Siena University for Foreigners to deliver preparatory courses for the DITALS examinations.
The school guarantees to all who need to learn Italian in Turin with high quality of education through individual courses, group courses, and intensive courses.
The access to each course foresees an entry test to help the school form classes according to the level of the students. The lessons are taught by dynamic and qualified native speaker teachers.
The school offers the students an opportunity to get to know cultural and artistic richness of the territory by means of numerous procreative activities: cooking courses, typical products and wine tasting, organization of specialty dinner, visits to Turin city with a tourist guide, visits to museums, evenings in local restaurants, excursions to the discovery of Piedmont.
In 2021, CiaoItaly became part of the Scuola Leonardo da Vinci group, joining a large circuit with over forty years of history in teaching Italian to foreigners behind it. In a perspective of growth and continuous improvement, which has always distinguished CiaoItaly over the years, the educational offer and services have been expanded. In particular, students will be able to take advantage of the special Guard.me insurance and will be able to participate in the "Giro d’Italia" program, which connects all the schools of the Scuola Leonardo da Vinci group online.
It's the cheerful, friendly atmosphere that I like. A warm welcome - and by name! Everytime! It’s what helps to make me feel a part of the school and not just another number in the cash register!
I arrived in Torino in September 2009. Not my first time in this gem of a city. Had spent several months there previously, but never found the energy to take formal Italian lessons.
